Reed products - for sale
For a perfect thatched roof, high quality reed is necessary. Our reed is produced and harvested from the Lake of Velence that we produce and prepare as per your need.
The extracted reeds are both used and sold for personal and commercial needs. We sell directly to private individuals, roofing, and trading partners in the domestic and EU markets.
Delivery is possible to the work site as required within the EU.

Reed harvesting, harvesting as service
In accordance with nature conservation regulations, we only harvest whit Seiga-type reed harvester machine, thereby promoting the possibility of a good harvest in the following years. If required, we also undertake the cleaning and trimming of reed areas, as well as the harvesting of usable reeds.
Burn delay
By spraying on the completed roof surface, we can achieve a fire retarding effect. The procedure must be repeated every 3 years for protection.
Moss removal
Moss accelerates the deterioration of the reeds, thereby shortening the lifespan of the roof. The material sprayed on the cleaned roof surface can protect the reeds against moss for about 3 years.
Expert’s report upon request
Our company is authorized to issue an expert’s report. If you have commissioned another company to make or renovate your thatched roof, you can ask our experts’ opinion. During an on-site inspection, we determine whether your thatched roof contains suitable, durable materials. This way, you can find out whether the thatched roof you have ordered is made or completed in accordance with the agreement with the contractor, as well as in accordance with domestic law and requirements.
